English GED Test
Mail your application to us at least two weeks in advance of the date you wish to test so that we have enough time to process your application. There are a total of 25 items on the application. Please make sure you carefully read all the items. Do not forget to sign item 24.
Tests at our GED Testing Center are given over two days, on Friday, 6pm - 9:30pm and Saturday, 9am - 4:00pm. (On Saturday there will be a 30 minute lunch break).
The English GED Test consists of an exam in the five subject areas listed below.
At our test center the GED exam is given over two days and the order of the
subject areas is:
Friday: 1) Language Arts Writing Test
Saturday: 2) Social Studies, Science, Language Arts Reading,
Math Part I, Math Part II

CHANGING YOUR TEST DATE
If you need to change your test date you must resubmit a new application with your two new preferred test dates. We can not change the test date over the telephone. You must mail us the new application.

GED TEST RESULTS
GED Diplomas and test scores are issued by the New York State Education Department in Albany. Test results will be mailed to you at the address you put on the GED test application within 6 weeks after you take the GED exam. If you do not pass the test, you will receive a transcript with your test scores. You may also call the New York State Education Department at 518-474-5906 to find out whether you passed or failed the test.
